DIPHTHONG AND SILENT LETTER Assalamualaikum and haii guys,today i learned something new that diphthong.Diphthong is a vowel in which there is a noticeable soound change within the same syllable.                                                                    On this day also i learn about silent letter.In english pronuciation,silent letter is an informal term for a letter of the alphabet that is usually left unpronounced,such as the B in subtle and the C in scissors.Also called a dummy letter.
